Privacy Policy

Short version. This website has no accounts, no login, no contact forms, no cookies of its own, no analytics and no advertising trackers. It does not build profiles of visitors and it does not sell, rent or trade personal data. The only personal data unavoidably involved in loading a page is your IP address and standard browser information, which the web server needs in order to send you the page.
This policy explains how this website handles personal data. It covers iwanbz.com only. It is not the privacy policy of PT Kaitai Valve Indonesia (KVI) or Kata Valve Group (KVG); those organisations publish their own policies on their own websites, and enquiries you direct to them are handled under their rules.
1. Who is responsible
This website is operated by me, Iwan Bhakti Setiawan, as a personal professional site describing my role in industrial valve sales and key account management in Indonesia. For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights in section 7, write to iwan@katavalvegroup.com.
2. What is processed when you simply visit
Server requests
Opening a page necessarily sends your request to the web server, which receives your IP address, the page you asked for, and ordinary technical headers such as browser type, language and the page you came from. This is inherent to serving any web page over the internet. This site is not configured to keep access logs, so these records are not stored for later analysis or profiling. The hosting provider, as the operator of the underlying server, may retain limited operational and security logs under its own terms.
Web fonts
The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts (Google LLC). Your browser therefore connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If you would rather not send anything to Google, you can block web fonts in your browser or with an extension — this site stays fully readable with fallback fonts.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser beyond your browser's normal page cache. There is no advertising, no social plug-in, no embedded video, and no third-party script other than the font stylesheet described above. You can confirm this in your browser's storage panel.
3. When you choose to contact me
The site offers links to email, telephone, WhatsApp and a downloadable vCard. Following one of those links hands you over to your own mail or messaging application; the message travels through those providers under their own policies, not mine.
If you do contact me, I receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry. I use it only to answer you and to follow up on the business matter you raised. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not send you marketing.
Downloading the vCard file sends me no information at all: it contains my contact details, and it is simply transferred from the server to your device.
4. Sharing
I do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and I do not share it for advertising. Your information is disclosed only:
- to service providers strictly necessary to run this website and my mailbox — hosting and email — who act on my instructions and under confidentiality;
- to the relevant company within Kata Valve Group, where your enquiry is a commercial matter that has to be handled there;
- where I am required to do so by law, regulation, or a competent authority.
This site uses no cross-site advertising or profiling cookies, so there is nothing of that kind to share.
5. How long it is kept
Correspondence and enquiry records are kept only as long as needed for the business relationship and for any legal, tax or accounting obligation that applies to it, after which they are deleted. Visitor request data is not retained by this website, as explained in section 2.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to it and to my mailbox is limited to the systems and accounts that need it. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed; the deliberate design choice here is that the site collects and stores as little as possible in the first place.
7. Your rights
Under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection you have the right to be informed about the processing of your personal data, to access it, to have it corrected or completed, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent, to receive your data in a portable form, and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Because this website does not retain visitor data, most requests will concern correspondence you have sent me or contact details I hold about you. Send any such request to iwan@katavalvegroup.com; I aim to respond within 14 working days.
8. Children
This is a professional business website, not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal data, write to me and I will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
